estrepe - Bouvier's Law Dictionary, Revised 6th Ed (1856) :

  ESTREPE. This word is derived from the French, estropier, to cripple. It 
  signifies an injury to lands, to the damage of another, as a reversioner. 
  This is prevented by a writ of estrepement.
