     consuetumen custom, habit, fr. L. consuetudo, -dinis, fr.
     consuescere to accustom, verb inchoative fr. consuere to be
     accustomed; con- + suere to be accustomed, prob. originally,
     to make one's own, fr. the root of suus one's own; akin to E.
