  Indelible \In*del"i*ble\, a. [L. indelebilis; pref. in- not +
     delebilis capable of being destroyed: cf. F.
     ind['e]l['e]bile. See In- not, and Deleble.] [Formerly
     written also indeleble, which accords with the etymology of
     the word.]
