        from its party-colored markings. The common European
        species (Clisiocampa neustria) is striped with blue,
        yellow, and red, with a white line on the back. The
        American species (Clisiocampa Americana and Clisiocampa  sylvatica
        ) are commonly called tent caterpillars. See
