Toluidine \To*lu"i*dine\, n. (Chem.)
Any one of three metameric amido derivatives of toluene
analogous to aniline, and called respectively
orthtoluidine, metatoluidine, and paratoluidine;
especially, the commonest one, or paratoluidine, which is
obtained as a white crystalline substance.
