  Wallflower \Wall"flow`er\, n.
     1. (Bot.) A perennial, cruciferous plant (Cheiranthus  Cheiri
        ), with sweet-scented flowers varying in color from
        yellow to orange and deep red. In Europe it very common on
        old walls.
