        buckthorn (Rhamnus Californica).

Yerba mansa. [Sp., a mild herb, soft herb.] A plant
(Anemopsis Californica) with a pungent, aromatic

        Indians.

Yerba reuma. [Cf. Sp. reuma rheum, rheumatism.] A low
        California undershrub (Frankenia grandifolia).
